Joseph Scavo Park just had had their Grand Re-Opening ceremonies on April 5, 2014 at Three Islands

Joseph Scavo Park is a seven acre park right in the middle of Three Islands in Hallandale Beach close by the Intracoastal. Three Islands residents can walk, jog here, picnic under covered areas. There are even two dog parks for smaller and larger dogs. For those who have fitness on their mind, there is the fitness trail, basketball court and fitness equipments. Smaller kids can enjoy state of the art playground. Included are two picnic areas, two off-leash dog parks, a fitness trail, basketball court, restrooms and large open spaces. If you live in this area, take a look, new trees, bushes, flowers and grass have been planted and old ones removed. You will be amazed. Emergency equipment is being installed as well.
