One of the reasons that we have higher maintenance is because of the insurance that is included in the maintenance. This is not your personal Home Owners HO6 insurance, it is rather the building insurance. Here is a couple of rule of thumbs. The larger the building, the more insurance costs. If the building is situated close to the Beaches like Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue or East of US1 then it will be designated as a Flood Zone. Stratigically the insurance is higher in Flood Zones.

Many out of state buyers get surprised that our insurance is higher however it is small price to pay for an endless vacation.
